The Sierras received a nice dumping of snow recently and this has given a real boost to the ski resorts in the area . Diamond Peak ski resort is in Incline Village and a favorite resort for both locals and visitors. Lots of events are scheduled during the ski season. Check out the Diamond Peak events for the Jiblet competition on Feb 11 and the Valentines day dinner on Feb 14 or "last tracks" Food and Wine schedule at the Snowflake Lodge overlooking Lake Tahoe to name but a few.
